The Council of the City of Corner Brook launched a new Housing Incentive Program aimed at stimulating new residential housing construction in the City.
At a press conference Mayor Charles Pender outlined details of the pilot program whereby the City will waive development permit fees and will be offering a tax-free incentive on new residential housing for a one year period effective immediately, (includes permits already granted in the 2015 calendar year).
