We’re Hiring – Administrative Assistant

Canadian Home Builders’ Association – Newfoundland and Labrador (CHBA-NL) is seeking a qualified, organized and dynamic individual for the role of Administrative Assistant. This position will report directly to the Executive Officer.  The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for, but not limited to, scheduling and coordinating association meetings and activities, correspondence, maintain a written and electronic filing system, answering phone and email inquiries, and all other day-to-day administrative related functions. 

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in business administration and/or combined relevant knowledge and experience
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Tools
  • Proficient in social media and website maintenance
  • Exhibit a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Exceptionally organized, adaptable, flexible, dependable, and able to work without supervision
